A good set of cutlery not only enhances the dining table, it also makes a big difference to the ambience and the culinary experience itself. With my increasing passion for food photography, I have always been on the lookout for great cutlery sets; weathered spoons to add some rustic touch to the vintage style photo, or shiny curved fork and knives to adorn the modern photo styling. Rarely those spoons make it to our real dining table as sometimes they are only good to look at, but functionally does not offer much.
Recently, I received a beautiful set of WMF cutlery for product review as well as to be used in my food styling projects. I must attest that the beautifully designed cutlery set is not only good to look at, it is one of the most functional dining sets we have at home now.

According to the brand connoisseur, even under heavy use, time hardly leaves any signs of wear. I have used the cutlery many times since they arrived, both for my food photography as well as for our own dining now. They are slightly heavy and the forks come with long tines, which is perfect for complicated functionality like carving meat loaves.
WMF is an international dining brand of over 150 years and well known amongst the home cooks and professionals alike, especially in the Europe. I discovered the brand through this gift, and am delighted to find out that they do offer a lot of beautiful cookwares with their motto; Life Tastes Great. WMF has been the pioneer in stainless steel cookwares since over 80 years and patented Cromargan® in 1927, which is now world famous.
As a home cook, the prospect of owning durable cutlery sets, resistant to wear and tear and dishwasher safe is certainly appealing. With the added visual appeal and sleek design, I must admit that this is one of the best kitchen utensils I received so far.
